David Jones to keynote industry conferences
Realtime Worlds CEO David Jones will be delivering keynote speeches at both Newcastle’s Game Horizon in June, and at Brighton’s Develop Conference in July.
The second annual GameHorizon Conference — which will take place on 23-24 June 2009 at the Sage Gateshead in Newcastle Gateshead — will have an exclusive audience of around 250 people.
“The GameHorizon Conference is an increasingly important event on the calendar,” Jones said. “Although this will be my first year attending, the reports back from the RTW staff who’ve gone in the past is that it’s a very interesting and informative event with a high caliber of attendees. All of which I’m very much looking forward to seeing for myself.”
The Develop Conference — for 2009 running from 14-16 July 2009 in Brighton — with its associated awards ceremony which has seen Realtime Worlds score several awards.
“Develop is the most prestigious development conference in the UK,” Jones said, “and I’m looking forward to coming to Brighton as it’s a great opportunity to share some of my experiences of making games — both good and not so good — plus tell a few of the Realtime Worlds stories to my fellow developers.”
