Job Description:

Realtime Worlds, creators of the No. 1 hit game Crackdown, are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Boulder, Colorado.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Network Engineer provides network support for all Realtime Worlds offices and data centers. This position will also handle installation, maintenance, and trouble-shooting of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN appliances, phone systems, and of local and remote data center environments. The Senior Network Engineer will work with other operations staff on engineering and security to develop a secure gaming network architecture.

Required Qualifications:

• Managing a large Ethernet data center environment.
• Deploying and using network monitoring applications.
• Deploying, configuring, and monitoring network services such as fail-over, load balancing, caching, DNS, peering, and multi-homing.
• Managing remote networks and devices.
• Designing, implementing, testing, and monitoring security configurations for protecting the network.
• Provisioning of lines, network addresses, VPNs, and other related network services.
• Demonstrable experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Extreme Layer-3 switching/routing environments, Cisco IOS, Linux, SNMP, and Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the following technologies: T1, Ethernet, TCP/IP, ICMP, UDP, BGP, HSRP, VRRP, OSPF, EIGRP, 802.1x, LACP/802.3ad, 802.1q., VoIP and Call Manager.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs over head and willingness to travel and rack and cable network hardware.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teammates is essential.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Willingness to provide off-hours on-call support and work off-hours as necessary.
